Nanoparticle Use To Direct Mesenchymal Stem Cell Osteoplastic Differentiation
Published 2023-10-30
Researchers from the Catholic University School of Medicine in South Korea recently published their findings of a new study pertaining to the use of nanoparticles in Stem Cell differentiation in the journal Biomaterials. The team used saponin nanoparticles unfused with Dexamethasone and Alpha-Lipoic Acid to enter Mesenchymal Stem Cells and guide their differentiation into osteoplasts. Proof of concept of the model was performed on an in-vivo rat model of a femur defect.
